Everyday we navigate this hard-to-swallow truth.  Sometimes we manage to live it while feeling aligned, authentic, friendly, and whole.  At other times, we stumble through feeling unbalanced, fake, alone, and broken.  Perhaps you’re struggling with depression or anxiety.  Perhaps your relationship is ending and you aren’t sure what comes next.  Whatever you’re facing, know that you are not alone.

I’m here to hold space for your feelings,  to coach and cheer you on, to occasionally offer some expert advice, and to help you navigate the choices that appear along the way.  As your therapist, I’m dedicated to guiding your journey of self-development and self-acceptance.  Together, we can learn about self-reliance, confidence, courage, and love.

Depression - Anxiety - Stress

All of us encounter disturbances of mood at times in our lives.  When depression, anxiety, or stress just feel too big, we often need a safe place to unload these feelings.  I use a Window of Tolerance model that teaches clients how to better track their nervous system - so they know when they need a break, when to ask for help, and what kinds of resources work best when things begin to feel overwhelming.  While these feelings are part of life and can’t be avoided, they can be successfully managed with the right tools.

Identity Exploration

Who am I?  What do I want? What is limiting my life?  What are my strengths?        These are some of the big questions we can tackle together.  This is a place to build confidence, courage, and belief in oneself.

Life Stage and Existential Concerns

In addition to addressing immediate concerns, I also help clients explore existential questions surrounding aging, meaningful living, and life stage transitions. Whether you're grappling with quarter-life, mid-life, or retirement milestones, I provide a supportive space to reflect on the past, embrace the present, and approach the future with confidence and clarity.

Relationships

The reason many people come to therapy is because something is amiss in their relationships.  Maybe you’re feeling lonely and longing to connect.  Maybe you have a special someone but lately there’s been a lot of conflict. Maybe you feel like you just keep choosing the wrong kind of partner.  I use an attachment model to help clients better understand their unique approach to relationships, and to strategize around healthy ways of getting relational needs met.  You deserve to be seen, known, and loved.

Intimacy and Sex

Shame and sex travel together for most people - but they don’t have to!  Therapy is a safe place to talk about sex, to get clear about what you want, and how to get it in healthy ways. There are many ways to feel sexy - from vanilla to kinky, single or in a relationship - we can talk about what works for you and how to make it even hotter!

Dating Support

Navigating the complexities of modern dating can be challenging! From online apps to real-world encounters, I offer support to help you navigate the dating scene authentically and confidently. Together, we can work on crafting a successful dating profile, overcoming dating anxiety, and fostering meaningful real-life connections in your romantic life.
